Due to changes in global market conditions, lenders have tightened up their policy and it is therefore crucial you talk to an experienced mortgage adviser to guide you.
Before applying, these are the Top 5 questions you must be able to say ‘YES’ to:
  1. Can I demonstrate either a savings history or sufficient funds in my account over the last 3-6 months?
  2. Have I got a clean credit history?
  3. Have I been employed with my current employer for at least 6-12 months?  If not, have I been in the same industry over the last 2 years?
  4. Do I feel comfortable engaging in a mortgage commitment?
  5. Am I aware that if I apply to several lenders without taking mortgage advice that I could jeopardise my chances of getting a loan?
If you can’t answer ‘YES’ to all these questions, don’t despair there may be other alternatives we can explore
